Your Privacy, Our Promise

At Naukri360, we understand that your career isn’t just about resumes and applications—it’s about dreams, ambition, and growth. And behind every click, every upload, and every search, there’s something personal: Your Data.

Whether you're a job seeker building your future, a recruiter looking for talent, or an employer managing hiring decisions, your privacy is more than a legal requirement for us. It’s a commitment.

This Data Protection & Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, and, most importantly, how you stay in control of your information.

1. Introduction

We’re building a trusted space — one secure byte at a time.

Every resume you upload, every profile you edit, and every job you apply to is backed by a privacy infrastructure designed to protect your journey. This policy acts as your roadmap to understanding what happens with your data from the moment you interact with Naukri360. It reflects our adherence to global data protection best practices and Indian legal compliance, like the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act, 2023).

2. Scope of the Policy

  • Integrated resume-building tools.
  • Hiring management systems and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Communication tools such as email alerts, messages, and notifications.

We operate on lawfulness, fairness, and transparency.

Your data is processed based on one or more of the following legal grounds:

  • Consent: Explicit agreement when you register or submit information
  • Contractual Obligation: To deliver services you request (e.g., resume builder or job application tracker)
  • Legal Obligation: When the law requires us to retain or disclose information

Where special categories of data are involved (e.g., disability-related information for inclusive hiring), we’ll always ask for explicit, informed consent.

6. Data Security Protocols

We don’t just promise security, we invest in it.

Our platform uses multiple layers of digital and organizational security to protect your information:

  • Legal Records: Retained up to 7 years for audits and compliance.

Upon account deletion, all associated resumes, applications, and activity logs are securely erased from our production servers.

Only those who need it get it.

We never sell user data. We only share limited data under strict agreements with:

  • Recruiters/Employers: Only when you apply to their jobs or opt in to resume visibility

All third parties sign Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) ensuring data confidentiality, purpose limitation, and legal compliance.

When your data crosses borders, we raise the security.

In rare cases, your data may be stored or processed outside India. We ensure:

  • Adequacy Decisions: Transfers only to countries with adequate data protection laws
  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs): Used when required
  • Encryption & Segmentation: Data is encrypted and logically isolated across regions
  • Transparency: You'll be notified of major changes in storage locations

We ensure your rights remain fully enforceable, regardless of server geography.
